The engine has been upgraded with a more powerful Buick 225 cubic inch V6 engine (casting number B1358435) mated to a manual transmission. Included with the purchase of this FC150 is the original speedometer gauge with the last odometer reading before restoration which read 44,000 miles.As mentioned, this is a%26#8220 cab over%26#8221 truck, so the engine is accessed through a dog house in the cab.
The dash houses a set of new black face VDO gauges that look great. The dashboard is in excellent condition, with no signs of cracking of fading. The paint shows very well, showing only minor imperfections. The body is painted with a bright red paint that looks awesome. The truck has a large stake-bed, complete with a%26#8220 wood%26#8221 floor that looks great.
